Instructions
Preheat the oven: Place your pizza stone or baking steel in the oven and preheat to 500°F (260°C) for at least 30 minutes.
Prepare the garlic butter: In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, then remove from heat.
Roll the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12–14 inch circle. Transfer it to a floured pizza peel or parchment paper.
Build the base: Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
Add cheeses: Sprinkle Parmesan cheese first, then mozzarella for even coverage.
Top with shrimp: Arrange the cooked shrimp evenly across the pizza. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
Bake: Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
Finish and serve: Remove from the oven. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges for squeezing. Slice and enjoy hot.
Notes
For extra spice, add sliced fresh chili peppers along with the red pepper flakes.
Substitute scallops or lobster chunks for shrimp if you want a luxe twist.
A drizzle of chili oil before serving makes the pizza even bolder.
