Ingredients

  • 1 large flour tortilla 8–10 inch
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp shredded cheddar cheese optional, for extra flavor
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for brushing
  • Your choice of toppings: pepperoni mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, or fresh basil

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a baking sheet inside to heat up.
  • Brush both sides of the tortilla lightly with olive oil for extra crispiness.
  • Place the tortilla on the preheated baking sheet. Spread pizza sauce evenly across the surface, leaving about 1/2 inch around the edges.
  • Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the sauce.
  • Add your favorite toppings (keep them light so the tortilla doesn’t get soggy).
  • Season with oregano and garlic powder.
  • Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until the tortilla edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  • Remove from oven, slice with a pizza cutter, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Want a super crispy base? Pre-bake the tortilla for 2 minutes before adding sauce and toppings.
  • For a skillet version, cook the tortilla on medium heat for 2 minutes, flip, then add toppings and cover until cheese melts.
  • Swap flour tortillas for whole wheat or gluten-free tortillas to fit your diet.
  • Add hot honey, red pepper flakes, or fresh arugula for a gourmet twist.
