Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking steel inside. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder.
Spread shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the dough.
Add the shredded chicken and red onion on top of the cheese.
Transfer the pizza carefully to the hot stone/steel and bake for 10–12 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and immediately top with avocado slices.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream with a squeeze of lime juice. Drizzle over the pizza.
Finish with fresh cilantro and a pinch of lime zest. Slice and serve hot.
-
Best enjoyed fresh, since avocado browns quickly—add it right before serving.
-
For extra flavor, marinate your chicken with lime, chili powder, or taco seasoning before cooking.
-
Substitute mozzarella with Monterey Jack for a creamier melt.
-
Add sliced jalapeños for heat or cherry tomatoes for freshness.
