Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup refried beans
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp salsa or taco sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone inside for at least 30 minutes.
  • Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, stir in taco seasoning, and cook according to package instructions.
  • Prepare the dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
  • Assemble the pizza: Transfer dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Brush with olive oil, then spread refried beans evenly over the surface.
  • Add toppings: Layer on taco-seasoned beef, mozzarella, and cheddar cheeses.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  • Finish: Remove from oven and top with diced tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, and a drizzle of salsa or taco sauce.
  • Slice and serve immediately for the ultimate taco-pizza experience.

  • Swap ground beef for shredded chicken or plant-based crumbles for a vegetarian version.
